As humanity gradually evolves into a higher consciousness, awareness expands into the acceptance of the diversity of others. We are already engaged in the process of entering into the fourth dimension. Not leaving the first three behind, we are adding the awareness of the pervasive and inclusive Field of Consciousness, in which we move and have our being. In the very beginning, our planet’s awareness was only one dimensional, as seen by the very low consciousness of rocks and one-celled plants and animals. One dot, one dimension, one place: “here” was all an amoeba, algae or pebble might know. The consciousness of that world was thus confined to one place. Eventually the earth produced animals, birds and butterflies that were aware of “here” and “there” as they traveled or migrated from one place to another. The second dimension, which had been there all along, was now included in the growing consciousness of our planet through these aware creatures. Later came humans, whose self-consciousness caused them to became aware of themselves as living beings in a world of other three dimensional forms. This third dimension was also there all the time; it just hadn’t been noticed yet. Nigel Calder writes, “…from the dust and water of the earth, natural forces conjured a mental system capable of asking why it exists.” Now some of us are getting a glimpse of what it is like to live in all four dimensions. Being the awareness of the Field of Consciousness itself includes context along with the content of what’s happening and expands our awareness significantly from the third dimension, where form and reason were all that seemed to exist. Again, this Field has been there all along; we are just now beginning to notice the warmth of the Loving Intelligence of this field of energy, which we ourselves are. Not one person on this planet is outside this expanding Field, for God is All There Is. The love and joy that become our comfort zones as we transcend the lower levels, are well worth the effort. Just remembering the present moment, staying there longer and longer brings about healing, evolution, love and joy, and peace—eventually on our entire planet. We are the way Love shows up on the planet.

2. How to get more happiness with less effort
More with less is a practical tool that delivers on two promises: It is always possible to improve anything in our lives, not by a small amount, but by a large amount. The way to make the improvement is to ask, “What will give me a much better result for much less energy?” It’s not enough to seek improvement by means of greater effort or the same effort as today. A much better outcome must be sought alongside lower effort. To expect more with less may se...
3. What is the good life
Three centuries before Christ, Greek philosophers debated what made the good life. Perhaps the most convincing view came from Epicurus, who took his own advice and lived very happily. “I don’t know how I could imagine the good life,” he said, “if I take away the pleasure of taste, if I take away sexual pleasure, the pleasure of hearing, or the sweet emotions caused by seeing beautiful forms.” Epicurus said that all we need for happiness is: Food, shelter, clothes ...

I. If a conscious principle had presided over the creation of man, it must have pursued this course of reasoning: "The feeble creature which, in developing, will become man, will be exposed to every peril. He will suffer from contact with his fellow-creatures. Envy and wickedness will cause him numberless pangs. In the struggle for life, the weak will be crushed by the strong. A prey to constant discouragements, man will lose faith in the future. He will need a companion to brighten his life with the softest rays. He needs a warm hea...
6. Marriage: Become Friends with Your Partner
Research shows that marital conflicts that start out positively generally end positively. The issue typically gets resolved — or at least doesn't damage the relationship. The same research shows that conflicts that start out negatively, generally get more and more negative — fights and arguments — and generally the issue doesn't get resolved. Worse yet, the research shows that conflicts that start negatively are the leading indicator to relationships that end in divorce &md...
7. Marriage: Secrets of Positive Marriage Conflict
Positive marriage conflict sounds impossible. Conflict suggests battles, fights, disputes, and differences of opinion. How can you have conflict that's positive? The Gottman research tells us how. Here is the secret: Start and end any 'issue' discussion on a positive note. When you do that, you have positive marriage conflict. You only fight about resolvable issues. You achieve positive marriage conflict by eliminating irresolvable issues, and only fighting about resolvable ones. When yo...
8. Prejudice of Wealth
I. The belief in happiness through the possession of riches resembles the tradition so widely diffused in the Middle Ages, of the icy caresses of the devil. All the women accused of witchcraft were of one mind in their confessions. The evenings spent with Beelzebub lacked charm. His embraces had a deadly chill. These complaints are heard from all who passed a night with Satan. He was handsome and irresistible, but his kisses froze them with terror. Wealth procures happiness, sincere souls declare, and they are believed. The aff...
