Tennis is a game that must be developed both physically and mentally.  Trainers and tennis enthusiast agree that the physical training is what must be worked on first and foremost.  When learning how to play tennis it is true that you must learn to stay cool and be patient during a game, but you must be physically ready before anything else.  You may find yourself out in ninety or more degrees heat in the midst of a heavy tennis match wishing you would have trained harder physically.  If you want to be the one dominating your next tennis match, there are some tennis instructions that you can follow to victory.  Of course, the first thing you need to start doing is getting into shape to play the game of tennis.  While getting in shape you will also need to practice making solid contact with the ball every time that it comes your way. 


To get in shape you will have to spend hours working vigorously to condition your body.  It is never good for any player to get winded during a game.  You must be aware that when you are exhausted it is hard for you to make solid contact with the ball, it is hard for you to get to the ball, it is hard to stay focused at all and you will not be playing the best came that you can in the exhausted state.  If you have a solid daily work out you can avoid getting winded and exhausted during a game.  A daily work out is one of the best habits that you can get yourself into.  There are different types of workouts that you can do daily.  There are aerobic and anaerobic exercises that are both beneficial to you and your tennis game.  Be sure to practice your footwork every day during your daily workout.  Getting yourself into shape will help you get to the spots on the court you need to get to during game play.   

The next thing to know when learning how to play tennis is that you need to keep in mind is practicing hitting the ball.  Making solid contact with the ball is imperative to a good tennis game.  Working on your hand and eye coordination is one of the most important parts of the tennis game.  You will want to buy a racket that you feel completely comfortable with.  Learn how to handle this racket properly and you will be on your way to playing a better game of tennis.  You will have to practice making solid hits for many hours.  This is a part of the game that you have to work on.
