So you decided to take a brake from work, leave the worries behind for a while and fly away somewhere.

It could be lying on the beach with a cocktail, dancing till the morning on a night club, seeing historical cities and places, cruising down the river, skiing at the Alphs or just travel in the nature.  No matter what the destination is, after deciding the type of vacation, you have to prepare your luggage and make some checks.

Plan your expenditures; Sometimes a lower costs hotel will give you the opportunity to spend on other attractions.

Before the flight it is very important to see the weather forecast of your destination, and take clothes accordingly.

Read about your destination, check out about the local transportation, and ask for recommended places, sites and restaurants. You can print some pages with the information and take it with you.

Highly recommended to check the current currency rate of you destination, if possible change the currency before the flight. A lot of currency changers give bad rates if you don't familiar with the rates.

Another important thing people intend to forget - checking the electricity type of the destination country and bring electric convert if needed.

What I recommend is to make a list of things to bring and then when leaving check if nothing was forgotten:

Things to check before flight:

Passport is valid

Abroad insurance

Flying tickets and reservation correct and ready

Check if visa needed for the destination

Things to bring:

Passport

Fly Tickets

Visa

Hotel/transport Vouchers

International credit card

Phone of your embassy

Camera + charger

Cell Phone + charger if needed

Electric convert

Sunscreen (always needed)

Flip-flops

Sunglasses

Small first aid kit

Notebook and pen

Map (or buy at the destination)

Ear plugs/eyes cover for the flight

Clothes according the weather:

Underwear

Sleeping clothes

2 pair of shoes

Swimsuit if needed

Comfortable clothes for walking

Clothes for evening

Raincoat if raining.

Beauty case:

Hairbrush

Makeup (and women stuff)

Toothpaste + toothbrush

Deodorant

Small towel

Perfume

Hair dryer (check if the hotel has)

The last important thing is enjoying you trip!!!
