If you are interested in losing weight, you have probably heard of the new weight loss supplement Akavar 20/50. If you google Akavar, you are sure to find numerous positive and negative reviews by the makers of Akavar and its competitors. If you put aside the rumors you have heard, you can make an informative decision about what Akavar does to help you lose weight and if it is right for you.

What is it?
Akavar 20/50 is a new weight loss supplement that was successful in Europe and was just released in the U.S. in August 2007. It is designed to help anyone lose weight in a safe manner by allowing you to “eat all you want and not gain weight.”

How it Works

Akavar claims that anyone taking it can eat all they want and still lose weight. Of course, this sounds like every person’s dream, thus making many people skeptical of its claims. The reason Akavar can make this claim is because it works as a caloric restrictor. In other words, it suppresses your hunger. If you don’t feel hungry, you won’t be inclined to eat a large amount of food. Thus, you can eat as much as you feel the need for, and lose weight because you are not feeling deprived, but satisfied by eating less food than normal.

How it’s Different from Other Weight Loss Products

As the weight loss industry continues to be profitable, there are a host of competitors. Akavar claims to suppress your appetite, unlike diet pills like Alli, which blocks the fat from digesting, or Xenadrine, which increases your metabolic processes to help you burn more calories. Akavar 20/50 doesn’t claim to instantly dissolve your fat or turn you into a model, but only to safely inhibit your hunger so you can lose the weight you need. Since most dieters fail from poor eating and hunger pains, Akavar can help you stick to your diet. If combined with diet and exercise, it is more effective for weight loss than when used alone.

Does It Work?

According to the makers of Akavar, Dynakor Pharmacal, it has been tested on a clinical study of 24 participants. The study found that 23 out of 24 participants lost weight. Dynakor also claims there have been other studies done to prove its effectiveness, although the results have yet to be released. This being said, the product is made to work for most people but individual results vary. If you can find someone who has actually taken the pill for a few months, you can get firsthand feedback on its effectiveness. Or you can try it for yourself. If it doesn’t work, Akavar guarantees a refund. (If you have serious health conditions, however, you should not take this product. There are special instructions on the label you should read before taking the product.)

Where to Buy It

Akavar 20/50 is available on the Dyankor Pharmacal website (buy two, get one free), and is rumored to be coming soon to GNC and Wal-Mart stores.
