The businesses that take the time to plan their success are more likely to become successful.

Also essential for success in the coffee shop business is organisation!

There are many tasks that you will need to take care of each day in your coffee shop, to ensure the smooth running of your business.

And that's why it is so important for you to plan each and every day!

It is vital that all of your essential tasks are scheduled and taken care of.

Tasks you will need to take care of in your coffee shop include - but are not limited to:

  • Preparing for the following day:  Defrosting frozen products, preparing sandwich fillings and replenishing the server.
  • Stock taking:  You must allocate a member to take care of stock control and maintain a tidy stock room.  This person will be responsible for ordering, taking note of damaged or missing cutlery and other items, and keeping your store well stocked.
  • Staff management:  Typically this is the job of your supervisor who will open up and ensure that all staff are available to work.
  • Bathroom replenishment:  Make sure the toilets are clean and well stocked with toilet rolls, soaps and clean towels.
