To this end, there are two types of equivalence namely system level equivalence and text level equivalence. The writer emphasized on the parameters of coherence and thematic patterns and their validity in assessment of translation. The writer, firstly, starts with the definition for equivalence. Then, the system level equivalence is defined as a relation between a source and target text. On the other hand, the text level equivalence implies the application of these parameters to a specific concrete original and its translation and their evaluation as positive and negative equivalence. To sum up, the system level equivalence trys to draw the relationship between ST and TT and shows the neutral value. Text level equivalence focused on the equitability of ST and TT. In terms of text and translation or text level equivalence, there are three perspectives namely itemized perspective, relational perspective and holistic perspective. In the next step, the semantic network or coherence is described. It is illustrated by graphs and concrete examples. Text- based parameters namely coherence, text topic, thematic, and isotopic patterns are discussed and system based parameters are explained in the article. To sum up, the article mainly introduces and explains two types of parameters or equivalences. They are illustrated by concrete examples. These two are system level parameter and text level parameter. Each has its own components which are explained in the in this article.
