Your company certifying to the ISO 9001

After your company's ISO 9001 audit, you need to register your company to show that you \ have met the requirements. And for that you need to follow eight essential steps.

1. Find a clerk

You need to begin searching for an ISO registration during the 2 to 3 months your company is still building its quality system. You can search the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), http://www.rabnet.com to select the registration fee for you.

2. Selecting a clerk

Select an agent who has experience in your field of category specific industry, which you can also find on the site of RAB. Keep in mind accreditation, scheduling, fees and comfort level when selecting the registrar for you.

3. Creating an application

A company and a registrar will agree on the application, contract. This defines the rights and obligations of both parties, including liability issues, privacy and access rights.

4. The conduct of a review of documents

Constable request a copy of your quality manual and procedures to verify that all the requirements of the standard are addressed. Allow 2-4 weeks in advance to register fully in the review of all the necessary documents.

5. Determine Preassessment

Although optional, this 2-4 weeks of the initial review system identifies significant omissions or weaknesses. It saves time and allows the officer to evaluate and solve all the logistical problems before assessing audit.

6. Issuance of an evaluation

During the audit, inspection or physical place procedures in action, the auditors question the conclusions they evaluate everything that does not satisfy the requirements, or nonconformities . The length of this step will depend on the scope of the audit and the size of your organization.

7. Completion ISO registration

After all claims are made in the audit report and nonconformities are addressed, your company has the opportunity to register as ISO 9001 compliant. You will receive a certificate and may also be entered in a register, the company can use to publicize its registration and use in advertising.

8. Checking with Surveillances

To ensure that the system is maintained and that changes do not result in gaps in the system, officers conduct regular monitoring of the system. During the three-year period of your certificate, auditors will conduct a full rotation and two partial checks of your system.

considerations in the planning

The document review and Preassessment typically require 2-4 weeks each. However, the number of registrars and the number of days for each stage of verification of the registration depends on the size and complexity of your organization. So set target dates accordingly to allow both you and the Clerk of time to fully prepare.

The quality of investment procedures

Always keep in mind, registration should provide you with valuable information to improve the system. So do not forget to ask the appropriate entry, and take full advantage of the entire audit process. After all, your business is your registration, and so make sure you get a solid return on your investment.

1. The Sins of Branding
Even those who have learned that a brand is a symbol, often fall into error by failing to understand that a brand can only arise from two sources. The first is as a result of product success. Most brand identities spring from this source. For example, Proctor & Gamble transformed Crest from just another contender to America's leading toothpaste for decades after persuading the American Dental Association that Crest really did help prevent cavities. For a time, Crest was the only toothpaste able to make this claim, and the m...

2. The Nature of Brands
To ensure a sojourn at the branding altar free from sin, it's vital to understand what a brand is. First, it is not, nor can it ever be, a product or service. This is a concept difficult for many marketers to grasp. Yes, you can buy a company. And you can buy its brands. However, you can never sell these brands to the customer. All you can ever sell is products or services. This basic fact was ignored time and again during the dot-com and application service provider (ASP) boom of the late 1990s. Branding exercises ...

3. Designing a self assessment Survey
Before you start to design a self-assessment survey, check to see if your agency has a self-assessment template that already exists that they would like you to use. Since you’re probably under a deadline, don’t recreate a brand-new self-assessment survey if a pretty good one already exists at your agency. Also, it may be against the agency security policies to use a survey that is different than the one they provide. If your agency does not have a self-assessment survey template, you will need to develop one before you can...

6. Creditation and Acreditation Handbook Development
In developing the program, you’ll need to write a C&A Handbook that instructs your agency or bureau on how to prepare a Certification Package. 8. What Is Certification and Accreditation
Certification and Accreditation is a process that ensures that systems and major applications adhere to formal and established security requirements that are well documented and authorized. Informally known as C&A, Certification and Accreditation is required by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002. All systems and applications that reside on U.S. government networks must go through a formal C&A before being put into production, and every three years thereafter. Since accredit...

9. The NIACAP Process
As you recall, the NIACAP C&A model was developed by the CNSS, and its intent is to be used as guidance for the C&A of national security systems. National Security Systems are systems that contain National Security Information (NSI).
